1001 Animations: Toy Story 2 by MrEnter 1001 Animations: Toy Story 2 by MrEnter
Yeah sorry, but no A Bugs Life. It's not a bad movie, but it's definitely one of their weaker films. You me to make a sad film even more sad? This was the last movie I watched with my dog, so yeah this movie resonates with me in an extra special way.

Toy Story 2 one of the weaker Pixar films? I disagree on that, but it's still really good and it is even better than the original, which is also great.

He said A Bug's Life was one of their weaker films.

Yeah, it's kinda weaker compared to the others.

Yeah.  Toy Story 2 is amazing, though.  It, along with the original, has a score of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

toy story 3 didn't make sense, if andy loved his toys THAT much, why get rid of them? i never felt that sad selling my toys, and confidentually, i still have a few.

I think it's trying to show that we do have to grow up, and one of the hardest things to do is get rid of childish things.

(To be honest though, I still have some of my old toys and I actually am kind of a bit of a toy collector).

And now that Disney is making sequels to Wreck-It Ralph & Frozen that AREN'T direct-to-video cashgrabs, I believe this movie put Disney on the right track.

This was the sequel that proved it could surpass the original!

It's so weird; this movie's message is so ominous but the ending is so happy, that I actually thought Toy Story 3 wasn't going to happen. I didn't believe they'd actually want to show that moment in Andy's life. Because it just confirms everything that Stinky Pete said. At this point, the future is ambiguous, and while the idea of Andy growing up is Ominous, they still have some good years left with him. And they're ready to make them count.

To make a really good sequel, you have to look back at the first film and respect every aspect of it, such as the storyline, music, the characters, and settings.

If only they would've made a sequel to The Incredibles, like everyone wanted, instead of Cars 2!

I know but it was still OK. But I think most of us wanted a sequel. Cars didn't need a sequel. Finding Nemo doesn't need a sequel (yet they're making one)

How did Pixar go from Toy Story 2 to Cars 2?

Actually, it was going to be direct-to-DVD, but it was DISNEY who thought it was good enough for theaters, and as a result, Lasseter said "it's not good enough" and had the movie start over from scratch.  It's amazing how the result turned out.

Most of the time, sequels to classic Disney movies are terrible, but some like this one, as well as The Rescuers Down Under and the Aladdin sequels, are rare exceptions. It's just a shame that, nowadays, sequels are not as good as the originals.

Undeniable classic and improvement over the 1st one. I liked Toy Story 3 but it just didn't do as much of a trick for me as the first two did.

Is it weird that I remember this movie BETTER than the first one?
Dont get me wrong, both are amazing, but I seem to remember this one a lot better, idk maybe i've seen it more times than the original, but both (and even the third are good)

Also for these 1001 Animations, do you plan on adding any Samurai Jack episodes (since I know its one of your favourite shows) ? or maybe powerpuff girls?
