It got a Razzie Award. I guess some people do not know a great film even it hit them in the face. Thanks for supporting this film MrEnter.

This movie has 23 writers. Wow! Anyway, I haven't seen the film in awhile, but I remember loving it.

It was nominated for a Razzie? BS!

P.S. I do think that Hunchback of Notre Dame was a very good film, but not one of the best in the canon. I felt that most attempts to lighten the mood came across as forced and juvenile, with the annoying comic relief gargoyles being the biggest offenders (although I will admit that Jason Alexander was kinda amusing). Disney obviously had trouble translating such a dark story into a children's animated film.

Disney's Hunchback Of Notre Dame, one of my favorite movies, ever. I love how dark it is, and the music is just AWESOME! It has, possibly, THE best villain ever to be put to animation.

I saw this one for the first time last Thanksgiving after a long period of avoiding the film out of a fear that I'd hate it. Now it's one of my favorites. Glad it got an entry here.

I never really got why it was nominated for a Razzie. Well, at least Twister got it instead.

The Shining also was nominated for a Razzie. They weren't great in the earlier years.

how in the world did this get a Razzie nomination? people may say often that the Oscars make weird choices on who they honor but the Razzies have their share of controvertial choices too

I counted 31 writers!

Shit, you proved that 1 writer can trump 4, comparing "Atlantis Squarepantis" to "Magical Mystery Cure"

Now you showed how 31 writers for this movie can trump the 3 who wrote this movie's crappy cheapquel.

Maybe their is no "just right" number, you either need to give it all to a single person or hire a shitload of writers at once.

It's also as crazy as saying Leonardo DiCaprio is a Good Actor! (And that wasn't a sarcastic quip, I really dislike him)

I really like this movie. Although, I am curious why they decided to turn such a dark, mature novel I haven't read into a family movie.

The frightening thing about Frollo is that he's pretty realistic and there  have been people like him throughout history.

BTW, do you plan on doing an admirable animation on this in the future?

Perhaps, although I think I said all of the good things I could about it in my Hunchback II review. That was a fun movie to tear apart.

DIsney cheapquels are terrible and I can probably count all of the good ones on my hand alone.

BTW, do you plan to do an Admirable Animation for a Studio Ghibli film?

Oh nice! There are two of them I recognize: John Sanford and Floyd Norman. Both pretty awesome folks. The rest I've never heard of before in my life or vaguely have heard of.
