This was the very first episode I've watched of SpongeBob, which led to another, and another...the list just goes on and on. On another note, SpongeBob in the classic era, was cute....the design anyway...It was easier to look at. The way he's designed now, he's no long cute to look at anymore. He's ugly with those huge cheeks and thicker body. I stick to the classic SpongeBob, cause that's the one with the best memories.
One of my favorites as a kid, and still one of my favorites now, it's an episode that has some great humor and it makes me crave for pizza every time I watch it. IT'S THE PIZZA FOR YOU AND MEEE-EEE-EEE-EEE-EEE!!!
Yup. Even Paul said that he loved the old animation but it would be too time and cost prohibitive to keep using in the show's production. Kinda sucks but that's the way it is with Nick. I'm very curious about the SpongeBob comics. Derek Drymon actually wrote a few of them.
I would be really turned off if they switched to Flash, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did start using Flash, even though you should know it's FAR more expensive to animate for Spongebob than it is for much of Nick's other shows, and honestly the animation has arguably gotten worse with each season.
